— Aristotle
Our Curriculum at Foundational Stage inspired by the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), embraces well-rounded growth .Thus, we ensure that our little cherubs acquire essential skills required to live a happy successful life in the 21st century.
We emphasize a comprehensive approach to teaching, blending core academics with skill development in language, numeracy, and socio-emotional growth. The curriculum is thoughtfully structured ,aimed to nurture both intellectual and personal development.
It also introduces literacy and numeracy in an unpressured, exploratory setting, using storytelling, music, visual aids, and tactile materials to instill a lifelong love for learning. Motor skills, social-emotional intelligence and self-confidence are supported through collaborative games and activities. Our school follows the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020,thus, the Panchkosha approach has been implemented in the Foundational Stage of  our school education.
The Panchkosha theory, inspired by the Taittiriya Upanishad, is a holistic framework that addresses the development of five layers of human existence: physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual. At Foundational stage, this theory is integrated into the curriculum to foster well-rounded development in students.
The Pranamaya Kosha or Energy for Vital Development is created through breathing exercises, rhythmic movement, and age-appropriate mindfulness practice which are regularly conducted to help regulate energy levels.
The Manomaya Kosha or Emotional Development happens through Storytelling, role-play, and play-based learning which nurture emotional expression and understanding. The development of Vijnanamaya Kosha or Cognitive Development takes place through Experiential Learning which is introduced through sensory activities that promotes curiosity and problem-solving.Moreover,the Anandamaya Kosha or Spiritual consciousness is developed through songs, prayers, and celebrations of festivals which encourage joy, gratitude, and a sense of belonging.

ATAL TINKERING Lab

The ATL of Lilawati Vidya Mandir provides a wonderful platform to encourage the creative pursuits of our Young Innovators. Under the guidance of AIM, Niti Aayog, the lab was inaugurated in the year 2018. It added another feather to the cap of our prestigious educational institution.
Our six year long journey has been eventful, permeated with several inter school laurels that sparkle brightly on our school website. The ATL Community Day Celebration in the month of April is a ritual. Eminent speakers from different fields and expertise enlighten our young learners in spheres like Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship. We feel honoured to share that we were also recognised as ATL School of the Month in October, 2018 as an award for our remarkable work.
People say, “Knowledge shared is the Knowledge Squared”. Lilawatiites do not leave any chance to share the skills attained by them with the underprivileged students from the nearby slums or non - ATL schools.
The seed of tinkering fostered so rapidly in our young learners that we were able to organise the First Tinker Fest in the inaugural year followed by Second Tinker Fest in the succeeding year. With the untiring and constant efforts of the school mentors and school innovators, we submitted 27 prototypes in ATL Marathon 2020 and got recognition from Atal Innovation Mission.Lilawatiites are also a part of all the online events held by Atal Innovation Mission such as Mega Tinkering Activity, Teacher Training Programmes and webinars. Lilawatiites continue to shine in ATL activities even at Pan India Level.
