Aavartan 2023 Mosaic of Art, an Inter School Art Competition, a three day event organised by Lilawati Vidya Mandir ,Shakti Nagar kicked off on 29th August, 2023 with exuberant participation from various prestigious schools across Delhi. The annual extravaganza, held to pay tribute to the school Founder Lala Jagannath Ji, was also part of the series of celebrations being organised to commemorate the Fifty years of school’s educational eminence . The event commenced with Lala Ji’s favourite bhajan, during the Opening Ceremony where the Chairman Harsha Gupta ji and Vice Chairperson Neeti Gupta ji warmly welcomed the participating schools and declared the event open. On multiple days of the mega event, participants showcased a myriad of activities , highlighting the talents of the participants across Delhi, setting the stage on fire. The inaugural day presented a bouquet of colourful events such as Fashionista for the Pre-School students, where the energetic toddlers paraded the ramp as a mesmerizing Mermaid, a wacky Witch, a somber Snow White and so on. The cute Chefs from Pre Primary, who participated in Chef de Cuisine stole everyone’s heart with their scrumptious Sushi, Stick Chocolate and Butterfly Sprouts Chat. Isharon Ki Duniya, created by the students of classes III – V, carried the audience and the judges alike to a Plastic Free India, through their fascinating mime acts. In the event Technovation- 1. The Middle School students took everyone with a storm by their scientific displays on the theme – Sustainable Development Goals. Dainty Kathputlis presented remarkable stories on various themes while, glamorous Fashion Fiestas advertised Khadi products, Barbie dolls and newspaper bags. Rangmanch saw an impeccable presentation of Chhayawadi Poets and their poetry, and Nrityanjali portrayed a harmonious fusion of multifarious dance forms. In the event Artistic Exponent we had artists with unparalleled creativity that resided and flourished in the twilight zone between the real and the fantasized human existence, as they painted futuristic India. On the other hand, rap performers from many schools across Delhi, characterized by their rhythmic speech, accompanied by beats and instrumental tracks told stories, expressed emotions. Besides that , the Sports Enthusiasts zealously fought their matches in the event Super Sixers. All the students and their accompanying teachers lauded the efforts of the host school. The event culminated with a Vote of Thanks by the school principal Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma.
