During the academic year 2018-2019 LVM continued to excel in scholastic , co-scholastic and sports field.
For outstanding academic performance and for being among the top 0.1% of successful candidates in AISSC 2018, eight of our students received certificate of Merit in Economics and one student in Mathematics. Also in AISSE 2018, our student Bhavya Chawla received Certificate of Merit for her performance in English Communicative. In XXXIV Manav Sthali All India Inter School Maths Talent Test our student received Certificate of Merit while two received Certificate of Appreciation.
LVM has recently been upgraded to “Gold Club ” category by Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Also Atal Tinkering Lab is in full swing and is helping budding Lilawati scientists to innovate ,discover and invent . Two of our students received Certificate of Appreciation in Atal Tinkering Fest Robert Unknown Football Game.
Tata power DDL CLUB ENERJI awarded Certificate of Appreciation to LVM for active participation. Centre for Science and Environment has labelled Llilawati as a ‘Green School’ under Green Schools Programme. The Award winning school garden remains a hot favourite with judges at the Annual Flower Show competition at the University of Delhi .Each year the School has been winning coveted trophies and positions for Best School lawns , Best Maintained Garden area of a Senior secondary school and Best school garden. LVM has been selected leader in contributing to community by EduAdvise in the year 2019.
The Legal Literacy Club of Lilawati Vidya Mandir sensitizes students on various legal issues. In December 2018 students participated in Youth Parliament under the ageis of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. In true patriotic fervour LVM celebrated Independence day and Republic day wherein a plethora of cultural items displayed the zeal and enthusiasm of Lilawatiites.
Our sports stars Nidhi and Agampreet Singh Awal won medals at National level Canoeing and Judo. (see link). Apart from this, Lilawatiies continued to win positions at zonal , District and Inter Sch00l level. (see link)
LVM teachers don’t lag behind in their spirit of competition and new learning .Mrs Dixit was awarded second position in an online competition on the topic Road Safety Integrated conducted by Delhi Traffic Police.
LVM judo coach Mrs Kamaljeet Kaur won bronze medal in Commonwealth Judo Championship 2018 in Grand Masters section. Our renowned artist and our school’s favourite art teacher Mr Amit Dutt received the coveted National Asward by the Honorable President of India in the year 2018.
